Terms of Use

1. Using voices responsibly

You may only clone a voice if it is your own, or the voice of an adult who has given you explicit permission, including for the way you plan to use the result. You must not use the app to:

• impersonate, mislead or defraud anyone, or make it seem that a real person said something they did not;
• clone the voice of a public figure, a child, or anyone who has not consented;
• create unlawful, harassing or defamatory content, or content that infringes anyone’s rights;
• use a designed voice to imitate a real person.

Where the law or a platform requires it, you are responsible for disclosing that audio was generated with AI.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to your recordings, scripts and the audio you generate. They stay on your device; we do not receive them. You are responsible for having the rights to what you use and for how you use the output.

3. Free use, subscriptions and the lifetime purchase

• Free: 1 minute of generated audio per day at no charge.
• Voicora Pro Monthly ($2.99/month) and Yearly ($10.99/year) are auto-renewable subscriptions that remove the daily limit.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; the current period stays active until it ends.
• Voicora Pro Lifetime ($79.99, one-time) removes the daily limit permanently for your Apple Account and does not renew.
• Prices are shown in USD here; the App Store shows your local price and taxes. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

4. The voice engine and third-party software

The app downloads a speech engine once and runs it on your device. It includes open-source components: Chatterbox Multilingual (MIT), its MLX conversion (MIT), S3TokenizerV2 from CosyVoice2 (Apache-2.0), speech-swift (Apache-2.0) and mlx-swift (MIT). The designed base voices were created with VoxCPM2 (Apache-2.0). Their licenses are listed in the app’s Settings.

5. Generated audio is not guaranteed

AI speech can mispronounce words, change emphasis or sound less like the original voice. Arabic dialect support is limited, as shown in the app. Review your audio before publishing it. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for content you create with the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may stop providing the app or features if required by law or by Apple. Purchases remain subject to Apple’s policies.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and note material changes in the app’s release notes.
